Evelyn is a 60-year resident of Newport Beach with a long history of public service to her city. She is a former mayor of Newport and currently serves on a number of non-profits. Of special interest to her is our OASIS Senior Center, Orange Coast Community College, housing for seniors and Seneca (finding permanent homes for children at risk). She and her husband, John Lynn, enjoy boating and spending time with their family.
Tom is the publisher of StuNewsNewport, a local online site focused on Newport Beach. He previously served as publisher of the Daily Pilot from 1991 to 2008. Tom is currently president of the Costa Mesa Chamber of Commerce and a local on-air radio personality on KOCI radio. A two-time chairman of Hoag Hospital’s 552 Club and past skipper of the Newport Beach Commodores Club, as well as a two-time chairman of Visit Newport Beach, Tom was named Newport Beach’s Citizen of the Year in 2011. He enjoys golf, reading, playing cribbage and following University of Arizona sports.
Steve is currently President and CEO of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce, an organization with 650 business members that organizes a number of civic events and fundraisers. He served as a Newport Beach councilman from December 2003 to 2012 and was mayor from December 2006 to December 2007. Steve is a longtime member of the California Bar Association and California Association of Realtors. In his spare time, Steve enjoys seeing movies with his wife, Gina, and attending Ducks hockey games with his friends (he is a 24-year season ticket holder).
